Thread Align – Set “A”

Increase your quality and improve efficiency with this FTC product. Our brass “Thread Align” is a product that was developed as a way to ensure two things; Perfectly centered holes every time, and increased efficiency. Not to mention, eliminating gulling do to heat and distortion!

Our “Thread Align” tool has a few unique attributes that make this tool a must-have, for every serious fabricator and business man/woman; With a machined centering shoulder, your threaded components with be centered to the hole every time; and being that the tool is brass, it will not gull the threads of your threaded component due to the heat and distortion produced from welding. Last but not least, the hex shape of our “Thread Align” series, allows for easy removal, should you encounter a stubborn fit.

To use, Simply oversize the hole in the metal component by 1/16″ over the nominal fastener size, insert the appropriate “Thread Align” tool, spin the threaded component on and hand tighten, them make your weld, remove and repeat as needed.

Hint!: Use multiple same sized units, to greatly increase productivity. Our “Thread Align” tools are available to be purchased by the piece, as well as in sets.
